ネットワーク方式
- LAN（構内通信網）：建物内の局所ネットワーク / WAN（広域通信網）：地理的に離れたネットワーク間を繋ぐ
- 有線（Ethernet/光ファイバ）と無線（Wi-Fi/Bluetooth）の違いと特徴
- パケット交換：データを小さなパケットに分割して独立して送信する方式
- 帯域幅：ネットワークの通信容量（Mbps・Gbps単位）
- LAN (Local Area Network) — the network inside one building or home. WAN (Wide Area Network) — connects LANs across cities or countries. The internet is the biggest WAN.
- Packet switching — data is split into small packets, each travels independently across the network, then reassembles at the destination. Efficient and resilient.
- Bandwidth — how much data can travel per second. 1 Gbps = 1 billion bits per second. Like the width of a highway: wider = more cars (data) at once.
