PoC (Proof of Concept)

A preliminary test or prototype built to verify that a new idea, technology, or approach is feasible before full development begins. PoC is used in the early stages of product development to reduce risk. It differs from a prototype in that it focuses on proving feasibility rather than demonstrating the final design.
